Free Startup Runway Calculator
Calculate your startup runway in months given burn and cash. Free runway calculator with growth-adjusted scenarios.
Quick answer
Startup runway estimates how many months your current cash can support the business at the current net burn rate. If net burn is zero or negative, the simple runway calculation is not finite.
Formula
Net burn = monthly expenses − monthly cash revenue. Runway months = cash on hand ÷ net burn.
Example
$300,000 cash, $80,000 monthly expenses, and $50,000 monthly cash revenue gives $30,000 net burn and 10 months of simple runway.
How to interpret it
A growth-adjusted runway model can be more useful than flat cash ÷ burn when revenue or expenses are changing materially.
